Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio is currently seeking a Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our Marketing team in Middleburg Heights, OH. The Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist you will work to develop and execute a clearly defined marketing strategy to support Goodwill Industries' mission. This position is responsible for creating and updating web and social media content, developing print and online advertising, and supporting marketing efforts for the agency.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Help create, manage, coordinate, and execute strategies and plans to increase brand awareness, donations and sales for Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio.
  • Identify marketing, advertising, and public relations strategies to grow and cultivate shoppers, donors, volunteers and community partners.
  • Track and evaluate effectiveness of Goodwill marketing and advertising programs.
  • Work with the marketing team and supporting departments to launch campaigns on time and on budget.
  • Maintain, develop and manage the Goodwill website and email platform.
  • Juggle projects with competing deadlines from multiple departments.
  • Maximize social media and online marketing tools to communicate Goodwill's activities and goals.
  • Utilize graphic design capabilities to maintain and create supporting documents with programs such as InDesign and Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Specific Experience/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Website content management skills: knowledge of HTML preferred
  • Experience in non-profit marketing and communications
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Outstanding writing skills
  • Teamwork and service skills
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing; 2+ years of digital marketing experience

 

Key Relationships:

Positions Supervised: None

Internal: Communicate effectively and develop teamwork within the agency.

External: Represent the agency in a positive way to the community.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Must have valid driver's license and automotive insurance. Must regularly provide the agency with proof of valid automotive insurance.
  • Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including but not limited to: inside, sedentary work; frequent forward, horizontal reach at desk,; occasional standing, stair climbing, stooping/bending; lift/carry up to 20 pounds and walk approximately 60 feet; infrequent crouching/squatting.
  • General office and phone system.

Financial impact Direct/Indirect:  Must meet budgeted expectations.
