Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio is currently looking for an e-Commerce Jewelry Specialist to join our team! The e-Commerce Jewelry Specialist will sort, process, identify, photograph, list, and organize jewelry for the purpose of sale on e-Commerce platforms and retail locations.

Essential Functions:

  • Identify and evaluate jewelry items for sale on a digital medium.
  • Maximize value by properly researching, describing and listing jewelry, stones, gems, watches, precious metals, antiquities, and other collectibles.
  • Accurately weigh, measure, identify, and categorize stones, gems, watches, precious metals, antiquities and other collectibles.
  • Write detailed, accurate, and concise descriptions of merchandise being posted to a digital medium.
  • Take clear, detailed, and aesthetically pleasing photographs of merchandise being posted to a digital medium.
  • Quickly and accurately post items at a minimum rate specified by the eCommerce manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of sold and posted items.
  • Store, retrieve and catalogue incoming and outgoing items in an accurate manner.
  • Interact with online patrons in a clear, professional and Beyond Great manner via email, phone or the customer's preferred method.
  • Utilize computer systems to store and retrieve pictures and other department-related files.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Specific Experience/Skills/Abilities:

  • Work experience with internet and Windows-based computer systems
  • Previous work experience in a retail or e-commerce environment highly preferred
  • Writing and/or photography skills preferred
  • Experience identifying, recognizing and valuing jewelry, stones, gems, watches, precious metals, antiquities, and other collectibles.

Basic Requirements

  • Highschool graduate or equivalent required.
  • Must have valid driver's license and automotive insurance.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings and Holidays as needed.
  • Primarily works in a warehouse setting. Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: bending, lifting, frequent standing, walking, stooping/bending, reaching, constant bilateral reach and handling, constant fingering and pinch grip. Requires constant ability to life/carry up to 20 lbs. May require constant shoulder height reaching with either hand and firm grasp. Frequent bending, may squat. Requires frequent ability to push/pull less than 20 lbs.

This is a full-time hourly position with offered benefits of Medical, Dental, Vision, Group Term Life, Disability, Retirement, and Paid time off.
